The original characters.
Warner Bros., in conjunction with Atlas Entertainment, is preparing a new animated version of the classic "Scooby-Doo." Apparently, this version will have no connection to the live-action version that appeared about ten years ago, though the same two guys who produced that generally well-received film (Charles Roven and Richard Suckle) are producing this remake. Matt Lieberman is working up the script.

Saturday-morning tv fans are well aware that Hanna-Barbera first brought the amusing dog and his gang of crime-solving eccentrics from Mystery Inc. to the small screen back in 1969 under the title "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" It ran for several years during the golden age of Saturday-morning animation, and for many more years in re-runs and syndication.
