"Home" is coming this Thanksgiving
"Home," a DreamWorks Animation feature film to be released later this year, will feature the singing and voice of Rihanna. Due out November 26, "Home" has inspired Rihanna to create an entire concept album around the film, which is to be directed by Tim Johnson. "Home" is based on Adam Rex’s book "The True Meaning of Smekday." It will be DreamWork's 30th animated feature film.

Here is a preview from DreamWorks, "Almost Home" featuring Steve Martin, which has been playing in theaters as a set-up for "Mr. Peabody and Sherman":

Rihanna is not in "Almost Home," but she most certainly is in "Home."

"Home," the eventual full animated feature film, is an intergalactic adventure that revolves around an overly optimistic (yet inept) alien race called the Boov, led by Captain Smek (Steve Martin). The Boov hop from one planet to another and finally invade Earth in an attempt to escape their mortal enemy. Their plan is to make Earth their new home and hideout. A Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons) is banished after he accidentally notifies the bad guys of the Boov's location on earth, and he embarks on a wild road trip across ruined America with a plucky girl Tip (Rihanna) to see if they can save Earth and the Boov.

"Home" mama Jennifer Lopez.
Jennifer Lopez voices Rihanna's mother, which is actually rather amusing when you think about it.
