Animated Tower, An Animation Using an Entire Building.

This is a pretty cool little animation that has to be seen to be believed. The creators apparently enlisted an entire school to open and shut the shutters of windows of an 11-story building to create crazy geometric patterns accompanying a thumping beat.

The coordination of this must have been intense, but the hardest part was probably finding enough people to man the 110 windows. We get some peaks behind the scenes which is great once you see what they can do. Notice that it seems to be taking place in real-time, as evidenced by the cars passing by.

Quite creative!

From the youtube page:
A giant human and architectural performance realized by NOTsoNOISY Guillaume Reymond and Trivial Mass. The 11 floors tower of the HESAV (Health High School Vaud) has been animated as a rudimentary screen whose pixels are, in fact, all the windows and shutters that students, staff and friends shake for hours. This project announces the celebration "HESAV fait ses 400 coups!" from 1rst to 8th of November 2012 //
