"Totem" by Caleb Wood, Great for Meditation

TOTEM from caleb wood on Vimeo.

"Totem." Feel in the mood for some relaxation/meditation? This animation from Caleb Wood might be just the animation for you. In fact, seen in the right mood, it is mesmerizing.

This uses a simple vertical scroll to create a tranquilizing effect. It may remind you of the work of M.C. Escher. May be best viewed with the lights off and the sound turned up. The vibrant colors alone are beautiful. How he gets that movement, must be a secret. Kind of a Tie-dye animation with its own unique style.

Anyway, there is no deep meaning to this. It is a simple '60s style work of patterns and colors that may just grab you. Hope you enjoy it. Give Caleb's site a look, he has other cool stuff.
