"Construxon Time Again." I don't know much about these blocks that are used in this video. They sure aren't Legos and they're not Mega Bloks. Apparently, they are called Construx.

The Construx blocks were used to make this music video about fighting robots and spaceship battles.

The way this was animated gives it an extremely vivid and vibrant feel. The music is kind of cool, too - apparently, the animation was made to promote the music. Either way, this is a fun little exercise in animation that leaves a lasting impression, with a good meld of music and action.

The nice thing about stop motion is that you get a much better impression of reality than with other animation - you know that you are watching things, and not just drawings. It creates a verisimilitude all its own. Not that there's anything wrong with drawings, but stop motion animation draws you in a bit more than other forms of animation in my opinion.
