One Piece: Cry Heart - Current Anime

One Piece: Cry Heart - Current Anime.

One of the purposes of this blog is to explore animation that we here in the States don't normally see.

This is some terrific stop motion animation from Japan. Now, it's all freely available anywhere if you know where to look. However, it's not something you're likely to ever find on your own unless you know to look for it - and how would you know to look for it?

"One Piece" is an anime that has the following plot summary:
Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King. One pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil's Fruit and gained rubber powers. Now he and his crew are off to find One Piece, while battling enemies and making new friends along the way.
The anime stems from Eiichiro Oda's manga.

These are a couple of clips, just to give a taste of what Japanese kids are watching these days.

On June 12th, Banpresto Crane line will be launching new "One Piece - Cry heart~children's dream~" prize figures, featuring the childhood flashback version of Luffy, Sabo, and Dadan as well as Ace and Garp.
